Mac Catalina Download Instructions

If Star Analyzer is running, close it before you proceed.

Before downloading Star Analyzer for the Mac you should read the download instructions shown below.

1. Click the Download Star Analyzer link at the bottom of this page and after a few questions, the download will begin.

2. If you are using the Mac Safari web browser, the download progress will show in the upper-right of the browser screen. Then you can click the AnalyzerMDMac button on the browser screen.

If you are using Google Chrome, the download progress will show in the lower-left of the browser screen. Then you can click the AnalyzerMDMac button on the bottom-left of the browser screen.

3. When you see the Cannot be Opened message as shown below, click the OK button.

4. Click the Apple icon at the top of your computer monitor and then click System Preferences.

5. Click Security and Privacy.

6. Click the padlock at the bottom-left of the screen.

7. Click App Store and Identified Developers and Open Anyway.

8. Click Open

9. Continue and the installation will proceed.

10. Proceed with the install process. When completed, click Applications on the left of the Finder window.

Locate StarAnalyzerMD.app, right-click it, make an Alias. Now drag the alias to the icons bar at the bottom of the Mac screen.
